This Supermarine Mk26 is a 2 seat 80% scale LAA cleared replica of the famous wartime fighter. Built in 2007/8, to the highest specification with absolute attention to detail, this particular aircraft has only flown 69 hrs TT. Aircraft is fitted with a Jabiru 5100 eight cylinder engine, which fits beautifully within the split cowlings resulting in easy access and maintenance. The engine drives a Sensenich fixed pitch propeller. Max cruise 140 knots @ 2800 rpm. Econ cruise 120 knots @ 2600 rpm. 30 litres/hr.

So if you want to experience the flight of a Spitfire, do seriously consider this Spitfire 26 at a fraction of the cost of the real machine.
