Chris Kjelgaard

Chris Kjelgaard has been an aviation journalist for more than 40 years and has written on multiple topics relating to the industry during that time. From the balancing of engine rotor stages, space-based ADS-B, double-dip tax-based leveraged lease financing transactions, or any number of topics in between, Chris has written on it over the years. His journalistic experience spans the light sport aircraft sector, helicopters, business jets and turboprops, commercial and military aviation, urban air mobility systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft wheels and brakes, ram air turbines, weather radars, and more.

Mr. Kjelgaard has served as the editor for ten print and online publication titles, and written extensively. He also copy-edits most of the major documents published by a global aviation industry trade association.
